wow…I really missed a lot on tumblr. this is what happens when you dont check it for like 2 weeks.
Sesame Leaves
Today I had the pleasure of eating marinated korean seasame leaves. They were marinated in a kim chi sort of sauce, that heighten the flavor. I was surprised by the fragrant smell of the leaves. They have this filling aroma that differs from sesame seed oil.
I asked Eric what they were called, apparently they are called “Kin Nip.” I’m not really sure if I’m spelling it...
